About Our School
Why PSPVA?
At Pine Springs Preparatory Virtual Academy (PSPVA), your child can learn in the ways that are right for them—at home, on the road, or wherever there’s an internet connection.
About the PSPA Virtual Academy
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, Pine Spring Prep launch its PSPA Virtual Academy. The PSPA Virtual Academy represents the third learning environment option provided by our school, joining the existing and traditional in-person and Blended Academy options.
The PSPA Virtual Academy will provide a fully online school option for students across North Carolina in grades K-11 in the 2024-25 school year. The PSPA Virtual Academy is entirely optional and provides families with the flexible of a fully virtual learning experience.
Instruction in the PSPA Virtual Academy is delivered using online technologies in both synchronous and asynchronous format. Students will be required to participate in live instruction each day, regardless of their location, and will be provided academic support from their online teachers and learning coaches. The virtual learning environment provides students with an adaptable curriculum across multiple subject areas, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, focusing on the North Carolina Course of Study.
