About Our School

Welcome to Pine Springs Preparatory Virtual Academy
At Pine Springs Preparatory Virtual Academy (PSPVA), your child can learn in the ways that are right for them—at home, on the road, or wherever there’s an internet connection.

About the Pine Spring Prep Virtual Academy (PSPVA)
Pine Spring Prep launched its virtual academy at the start of the 2024–2025 school year, offering a third learning option alongside its traditional in-person and blended academies.
PSPVA is a fully online school available to students in grades K–12* across North Carolina. This optional program gives families the flexibility of a virtual learning experience while maintaining high academic standards.
Instruction is delivered through a mix of live (synchronous) and independent (asynchronous) online learning. Students are required to attend live lessons daily, no matter where they are, and receive academic support from their online teachers and Learning Coaches. The curriculum covers core subjects—English, mathematics, science, and social studies—aligned with the North Carolina course of study.
